Scholarships
Young artists K-12 and writers in grades 6-12 can win money for school here at the VFW Auxiliary. Students don't have to be related to a member to enter.

For Writers
Deadline for submission is October 31, 2025
High school students write an essay answering the question "How am I showing patriotism and support for our country?" They also submit an audio recording of themselves reading it aloud.
6th, 7th, and 8th graders write an essay answering the question "How am I showing patriotism and support for our country?".
For Artists
Deadline for submissions in March 31, 2026.
Students in grades K-8 can submit drawings and paintings with a patriotic theme. Art is judged in 3 different age groups.
For high school aged artists who work in two dimensions.
